I encourage you to take a moment and to check out reviews of your nonprofit at GreatNonprofits. Your volunteers, clients, donors and other partners may have already written a review about you. This is a great resource that I found through Perla Ni (founder) in the last year. It’s an outstanding way to build credibility and use a reference with various stakeholders.

If you don’t have any reviews yet, this is an important time to solicit reviews from your stakeholders, as reviews of your organization now also appear on your GuideStar profile page. You can email your volunteers, clients, board members, and other stakeholders and ask them to post a candid review of your organization.

It's quick and easy- you can simply copy and paste the sample email below (in blue) and send it out to all of your volunteers, clients, board members and other stakeholders. This is a FREE way to gain visibility and vividly show the impact of the work you do. I recommend sending out the email to your stakeholders as soon as you have an opportunity.
